iAS Ltd was incorporated in 2009 with the primary goal of providing Innovative Solutions to manufacturing problems for customers in the UK & Ireland, whether simply Project Management or specifying & implementing complete Automation Solutions.
Over the last 10 years in general the UK has suffered a deteriation of its competitiveness in manufacturing consumer goods, the primary reason for this is the lack of investment into suitable automation, in many respects this is due to the high costs demanded by the OEM suppliers, iAS aims to offer lower cost & quick pay back alternatives to the standard offering from OEM suppliers whilst also offering tailored solutions that offer a perfect match to our customers present & future needs.

The founder of iAS, Mike Clarke has worked in Automation for over 25 years, mainly for Automation suppliers including Bosch Rexroth, Schneider Electric & Elau, his work has involved working alongside customers to provide cost effective solutions to automation problems. His success in applying solutions to manufacturing problems can be measured by the implementation of extremely innovative solutions in diverse applications, including Tube Forming & Vertical Presses using Electric Drive Systems, Glue Dispensing using Hybrid Robotics & High Torque Test Rigs with 0 to 18,000RPM Speed Range using Asynchronous Motor Technology.
Recently iAS has evolved into implementing Vision System technology onto manufacturing processes to provide Robot Guidance & Quality Control that significantly reduced production costs for the customer.
All projects undertaken by iAS are managed using PRINCE2 principles & therefore viewed with a close scrutiny to ROI considerations & relevance to our customers future production requirements.
